Since we have all arrived safely home, merci a le bon dieu, I thought it might be useful to update on status.

Aghanne, of course, made her escape. So, too, did Bemba, the weasel. Monsieur Ord is home in Scotland receiving therapy after Aghanne's control on him broke. He seems to be having more difficulty recovering than the children Aghanne was using as her pawns. Perhaps this is because children are more resilient in general, or perhaps because Ord was a more important cog in Aghanne's plane, who knows.

The children are being seen to, and seem to be recovering well.
